John Gavurnik  

John Gavurnik brings to his role as managing member of Kibo Contractors LLC over 45 years construction experience. The first decade was spent as a project manager, production manager and director of construction for Kennedy Brothers, a prominent Chicago-area home builder currently based in South Barrington, Ill. He then joined Nash-Phillips Copus, Inc. of Austin, Texas, and gained additional experience across a span of 7 years as vice president of multi-family construction.

From 1985 to 1988, Gavurnik developed single and multi-family residential and retail projects in Central Texas. In late 1988 he joined the C.P. Morgan Company of Indianapolis as vice president of construction, where he supervised the development of more than 1,100 single-family homes and townhomes, from 1988 to 1992. 

In 1992 John Gavurnik established his building companies in Central  Texas. Beginning as Gavurnik Homes L.P. in 1992, the company has evolved into Kibo Contractors LLC as of 2010.  Since mid 1992 over 1,000 homes have been constructed, including neighborhoods of single-family homes, duplexes, and multi-family townhomes, and many single family custom homes on the clients own property. The home building has been complemented with commercial building of apartments, office condominiums, dental offices, and custom condominiums conversions. 

In 2010 John Gavurnik began Kibo Contractors LLC, a general contracting company, and has expanded to the commercial buyer in this manner. Kibo Contractors LLC offers experienced land development for commercial and residential properties and is also a builder of custom homes on the owner’s property. As a general contracting company Kibo Contractors LLC offers a wide diversity of services to their customers.
